Delicious Creamy Mashed Potatoes Recipe

How to make creamy mashed potatoes?

Recipe-

today I’m sharing the secrets to the creamiest, velvety smooth mashed potatoes. These whipped potatoes are easy and shockingly good. Everyone will ask you for the recipe.

Start by peeling four pounds or twelve russet potatoes. If you want the smoothest potatoes possible, remove the little knots from the potatoes with a small spoon or paring knife, and of course, our regular potato peeler disappeared during our move so we had to improvise with this torture tool. Rinse the potatoes to remove any excess starch and to keep them from discoloring. Transfer them to a large pot and add just enough cold water to cover the top of the potatoes. Bring that to a rolling boil over high heat then reduce the heat to a light boil. Partially cover and cook until they're easily pierced with a knife which is about 20 to 25 minutes, depending on the size of your potatoes.

Drain the potatoes really well, then transfer them to the bowl of your stand mixer. Grab the whisk attachment and mash the potatoes coarsely by hand just to break them up. Transfer the bowl on to your stand mixer and with the same whisk attachment beat on low speed for 30 seconds, then increase to medium speed and slowly drizzle in the hot milk. Use 1 to 1.25 cups of hot milk.

The Potatoes should look creamy but not overly loose. With the mixer on add 16Tbsp or one cup of softened unsalted butter, adding it one Tbsp at a time and waiting a few seconds between each addition. Slowly whipping in the softened butter gives the potatoes the best texture and flavor. Finally, add one and a half tsp of sea salt or season to taste. Alright, look how creamy this is. Want to get every bit of this goodness.I'll lick that later... All right, now we're gonna serve it because I'm getting hungry and I've got steak and veggies to go with this. I just didn't want to bring them out because I don't want to make you guys crazy jealous. Okay, here we go.

Just show you guys how velvety smooth and fluffy these whipped potatoes are. Ahh... Wow!Oh my goodness! These are holiday-worthy, special for the company, and my children's favorite mashed potatoes. Okay, and the secret to making potatoes look incredible is - don't laugh...Drizzle just a little bit of melted butter over the top, just like that, and then add a little bit of fresh parsley and you can also use dill if you prefer dill. Okay, just a little sprinkle of fresh green pop of color and flavor. Perfect, okay and we're gonna do the taste test because I'm hungry and this is just calling my name big time, okay. I need another spoon, here we go - a fork. This will do it. That is so creamy and buttery and delicious. Wow and this recipe is so easy because potatoes should be easy.
